Creations from the weekend...all very orange!

This one is for the first round of the Christmas Competitions Fa La La La La at Enchanted Scrapbooks. We had to use the carol " All I want for Christmas" as inspiration.
Criteria was 2 photos without smiles, and all I want in the title

This layout is my take on the Nov 1st STUCK?! sketch

And this last layout is for the sketch at Scrapbook Savvy.
This is the cutest layout journalling I have done for a while. It is about a conversation I had with my smarty pants 4yo Charlie. He is such a cutie at time...despite being a total ratbag
Close-up of the journalling and my new "little bit of Whimsey" purchase (birdie)

Hope you all have a lovely Monday and start to the week. I am off to Melbourne tonight til Wednesday for a Neonatal Conference and some shopping. Hope I cope without the internet.

INSPIRED BLUEPRINTS #35 and a toot toot

Yes it is time for another fabulous sketch at Inspired Blueprints. I just love the cleans lines of this sketch, and we got to use the EAD rub-ons that were sent to the DT. I had the gorgeous trees in black...just love them!

Here is my sample for the sketch. I have this gorgeous picture of Kayla and me, and I was inspired by her orange scarf for the colour combination

And now for my TOOT...Lisa at Inspired Blueprints has asked me to stay on for a further 4 month term. I am so excited cos I just love the sketches and love the inspirational work from the other DTers.

Weekend of Cyber Crops in October

Savvy is having their Cyber Crop at the moment, and Lisa Challenged us to create a layout about an important woman in our lives like a friend, using some pink. This is a layout I created as a tribute to my friend Lynn, who was a childhood best friend and has since become great friends with again!

This is a layout I created using the STUCK ?! sketch for October, to meet the criteria of the Enchanted Scrapbooks Cybercrop challenge set by Tiff. We had to use an entire packet of something on a layout. I used a whole packet of Kaisercraft rubons 'Duchess'.

Hope you are all having a great week so far!
